We have been married for 5 years, we have a beautiful, 1½-yr old son, two wonderful cats, and a betta fish. Our cats, Aslan and Felix, are the most loving, kid-friendly cats that one could ever hope to meet. They are each a true joy and a blessing in our lives and we are so grateful to have them as part of our family.

How We Met:
Aslan: We were looking for an adult ragdoll on PetFinder (I had wanted one for over 10 yrs) when we began seeing kittens show up. We drove over 2 hours one way to Chattanooga to adopt Aslan. A breeder was surrending kitties due to illness.
Felix: He came down the cat tree, sniffed my nose, and curled up in my lap while I was petting another kitten at Good Mews. He claimed me!! I had to take him home after that.

Favorite Spots:
Aslan: laying on anything that has been left on the floor
Felix: near a window or high in a cat tree
Favorite Toy:
Aslan: plastic cage balls with jingle bells in them
Felix: any and all toys
Silliest Habit:
Aslan: loves to walk around with a ball in his mouth; will lay on anything left in the floor, ie. paper, book bag, etc., baths himself like crazy when scratched a certain way on his back and sometimes hits the sweet spot himself while scratching with his hind foot.
Felix: loves to chase bugs & eat them; he will sometimes keep meowing and looking for the bug after he's eaten it already.
Sweetest Moment:
Aslan: he's a total momma's boy and follows me everywhere. He's always staring up at me with his big blue eyes and he has the cutest little "whisper meow" when he wants attention. Sometimes we don't even hear anything, we just see his mouth move.
Felix: loves to lay belly up in your arms or lap and falls asleep that way quite readily when petted. Oftentimes he lays completely limp in your arms with his head and feet dangling.
My Pet Is Unique Because:
Aslan: He is so calm and complacent. He has what we call a "don't care attitude" and will tolerate almost anything. Even if it bothers him, if you insist he will just give up and let you... ie. when he let me shave him one summer.
Felix: He lets my toddler push,pull, and crawl all over him and he doesn't even try to get away when Noah presses his knee into his side. He will tolerate Noah holding his head and looking directly into his face almost nose-to-nose without hissing and growling.
