She’s very comfortable with cars and has been known to sneak in someone’s car and luckily it was a family member that brought her home after the 3 days she was in his garage unnoticed. That’s what I think happened and who knows what a stranger would do if they randomly found a cat in their vehicle. It scares me to think they drove far away and just let her run off in the snow.
