Thank you to everyone who jumped in to post, repost, and give their advice on how to find Bambi. She came home last night around 2am. Earlier that night, on advice from several people, my daughters and I walked the neighborhood calling out to her. We left a trail of cat food leading back home from all directions. We also left her plush covered cat bed on the porch. I even went out around midnight and called out a few more times. At 2am, my front camera recorded her up at the door meowing. She then walked into her cat bed and slept. I reviewed the videos around 5:30am and found her to be in her bed. I brought her in and she immediately went to sleep (probably very cold). She didn’t eat so I imagine someone might have been feeding her for the previous 48 hours. I’ll know more when she wakes up. My guess is that someone took her in not knowing she’s owned. Maybe let her go when she drove them nuts meowing at their door (just a funny vision). In any case, the girls were so happy to see her and she’s happy to see them too.
