I found Kitty after only a day and a half of her being missing. I live in an apartment, and was extremely scared that she might have ran to another complex or worse, crossed the street. Thanks to LostMyKitty, i was able to put flyers up everywhere, handed some out to neighbors, posted on Nextdoor, craigslist, and Facebook. That flyer allowed me to post everywhere with the correct information quickly and efficiently. Even though nobody called my number, what helped me the most was being connected to tons of helpful people online. I got so many tips that allowed me to not lose hope and find my kitty. Time is of the essence. If you lost your kitty, chances are that she/he is nearby and just hiding because they are scared. If you have a work schedule and are not home during the day, I strongly encourage you to knock on neighbors doors and let them know she is missing just so they can keep an eye out. During the early morning and late night, walk around your house/apartment and call out for your kitty. Use a flashlight so that you can see. Make sure to check hiding spots and hard to reach areas or even a neighbors backyard. I found my kitty laying in the corner of a neighbors porch! Never lose hope.
