I was about to start my tabletop online game last night and about to shut the door when I found a very cute friendly cat on my porch trying to get in our house. We lured him into the shed and set him up with food, water, litter, etc. and left him for the evening and took him to the vet in the morning. The vet recommended LostMyKitty so I posted his information on here. Thanks to the service sending out the information to nearby shelters and vet offices his family was able to quickly get in touch with me and reunited with their cat. Happy to say that Lou is safe at home with his family!
