After over 4 months Max was trapped and brought into Planned Pethood in Duluth. They scanned for a microchip and contacted me this morning that they had my kitty. I went and picked him up this afternoon. It looks like he found a place to get food, he is a very healthy weight and his coat is clean. I wish I could say he is as happy to be home as we are to have him home. He is hissing and growling at everyone and his fur siblings. But 4 months is a long time for a cat, and we have no idea what his life has been like. So it will just take some time for him to get comfortable again. For now, I have him in my office with food, water, litter box, some toys and scratching pad and bed. I am so amazed that he was found safe. Microchips work! I never though he would be found. But he was, thanks to a nice lady who took him in to get fixed. I am happy there are cat lovers out there that are taking care of our lost furbabies. <3 Best luck to all, never give up hope!
