My cat was recoverd primarily because his embroidered collar managed to stay on through his travels, but the day I got a call saying someone had found him in their garden, I also got a response from a lady on the same street saying she had fed my cat that morning and thought he was a stray until she heard the robocall. I think the robocalls are great and while it didn't directly help me find my cat, the fact this woman on the same street had heard it and thought of Chairman Meow was proof enough to me they work. I would not hesitate to use this service again, although I probably wasted money on the faxes to shelters and vets as my microchip company also does this. Still, you have to cover all bases when you love a pet!
